Prior to joining SSAC was President of Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) in Taiwan. Previously, Dr. Lo was actively involved in academic research activities and served as Chief Executive Officer for the Satellite GeoInformatics Research Center of the National Cheng Kung University. Dr. Lo has supervised lots of major programs regarding national aerospace applications and technology developments.

With Dr. Lo’s broad knowledge in public policies, as well as his exceptional insight in the cross-straight relation and strategy initiatives, Dr. Lo served as the executive committee member for Taiwan Think Tank and participated several policy-making for the government. Served as the chief director of the Policy Research and Coordination Committee, Dr. Lo provided crucial recommendations in national policy-making for the governing political party on Taiwan.

In Dr. Lo’s earlier career, he served as the Chief director of Economic Redevelopment Bureau of the Tainan City Government, which was followed by his post as Chief Executive Assistant to the Minister of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications.
Born in 1965, Dr. Lo received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Geomatics Engineering from the National Cheng Kung University, and earned his doctorate in Aerospace Engineering from University of Texas in Austin.
