Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation manufactures the all new SJ30-2 light business jet. The SJ30-2 has a unique blend of speed and range capability that is unmatched in the light jet class of business jet aircraft. Sino Swearingen Aircraft Company, a partnership between Swearingen Aircraft Company of San Antonio, Texas and Sino Aerospace Investment Corporation of Taiwan, was established in 1995 and incorporated in 1997. Its successor, Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation, is the first all new company to develop, build, certify, and deliver a new design business jet since 1963.

Sino Swearingen currently employs nearly 400 people at its facilities in San Antonio, Texas and Martinsburg, West Virginia. The company is headquartered at the San Antonio International Airport (KSAT) in San Antonio, Texas. The headquarters building has over 220,000 sq. ft of hangar and office space and is home to the engineering, executive, marketing & sales, final assembly/production line, quality assurance, flight test, and finance departments. In addition, Sino Swearingen has three other facilities on the San Antonio airport property:

  • The SJ30-2 Structural Test Center houses a state of the art structural testing facility where both static and fatigue tests of the SJ30-2 are conducted.
  • The SJ30-2 Flight Test Center is home to the research and development aircraft that support design, development, and certification efforts for the SJ30-2 program.
  • The Sino Swearingen Aircraft Factory Service Center is strategically located to provide world class factory service to all SJ30-2 customers.

The company's main manufacturing facility is housed at the John D. Rockefeller IV Technology Center on the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport - Martinsburg (KMRB) - in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This 87,000 sq. ft. facility is responsible for the manufacture of the wing, the fuselage, and the vertical tail of the SJ30-2. Upon completion, these structures are shipped to the San Antonio facility for final assembly.
